Kanchanaburi is Thailand’s third-largest province, stretching far west of the border with Myanmar. The province boasts of some of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls and caves, as well as the historic bridge over the River Kwai. The hills and valleys are scattered with intriguing temples, historical sites, and the lush, wooded landscapes are ideal for cycling, trekking, and raft trips.
New Course for 2010! Combines a challenging 1 day race with the magnificent beauty of the river Kwai valley.
Disciplines include biking, running, swimming and kayaking.
The race route travels along scenic trails and explore the mountains and farmlands of western Thailand

Each year in late November to early December, the world famous River Kwai Bridge built by Allied prisoners-of-war
during World War II, becomes the focal point of celebrations.
Event highlights include historical and archaeological exhibits, a carnival, folk and cultural performances, rides on
World War II vintage trains, and a spectacular light and sound presentation re-enacting the bridge’s World War II legacy.
